1. TOMATOES PRESERVED
While fresh tomatoes are rightly considered an effective cancer-fighting vegetable, canned tomatoes do not fall into the same category at all. Several studies have shown that people who consumed more than one soda a day had a higher risk of stroke than people who do not drink sodas. Containing a lot of sugars, sodas are sources of calories and can have harmful consequences on the human body.

The jam itself is not dangerous. The problem comes from jams sold in supermarkets that contain large amounts of sugar and glucose-fructose syrup. Daily consumption promotes diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and fat storage. All of these factors exacerbate the risk of cancer, especially the pancreas and liver.
