CHIA SMOOTHIE BANANA STRAWBERRY

As usual, I publish late at night or very early in the morning so you can have time for example if the recipe makes you want to buy everything you need to be able to do it in the evening.

Today the recipe that I propose to you will rather accompany you during your breakfast because it is a perfect recipe for a morning “where one does not have the time” to prepare something or on the contrary ideal to accompany a good big Sunday morning brunch.

Recently, I use chia seeds every morning. Whether it’s like here in a smoothie or as I’ll talk about it later as a pudding it’s become my daily breakfast.
Chia seeds have absolutely no taste but can boost the nutritional value of your dishes.
The chia, which is actually a plant native to Mexico produces very small black seeds (chia seeds) rich in omega 3, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber and so on!
These small seeds are real assets for our health and the fact of being able to put a little everywhere without that brings an unpleasant taste is a real plus (in addition they do not make you fat but on the contrary, they regulate the appetite)!
Throughout the summer I have prepared this delicious chia smoothie for our breakfasts but also for the snack :).

In this recipe, I decided to prepare my smoothie with strawberries and bananas but obviously, you can put the fruit you want it is like for a classic smoothie apart from adding small seeds and more!
I know that everyone does not know chia seeds because they are just starting to make themselves known in the US so if you also want to prepare a chia smoothie you will find in any organic store or in the bio department from your usual supermarket!

I leave you with this recipe ultra fast but ultra effective and I hope you enjoy it 🙂

CHIA SMOOTHIE BANANA STRAWBERRY

CHIA SMOOTHIE BANANA STRAWBERRY

ingredients

Milk – 2 cups, bowl, jars of your choice
Strawberries – 180g
Banana – 1 banana
Chia seeds – 1 and a half
Honey or agave syrup (optional) – 1 tbsp
Lemon (optional) – 1 tsp

Recipe

This recipe is for two people.
I used large “jars” to pour my smoothies in, so I used enough milk to fill both jars.

Whether you use glasses, cups or large jars like me, you have to pour the milk to 3/4 of the container to have the amount of milk you need (I do not know if it’s really very clear ^^) and multiply by two if it’s for 2 people …

– Pour all the ingredients into the bowl of your blender
– Mix until a smooth and homogeneous mixture is obtained
– Pour into the container of your choice
– Taste

Note: You can choose not to put the seeds of chia in your robot but to deposit them on the smoothie after pouring it in your glasses.
